Roger Jr. overview & gameplay guide

Character Trivia

Roger Jr., the second generation of kangaroos genetically modified as military animals. His mother, Roger Mom, fed up with her free-spirited and neglectful husband, Roger Dad, chose to divorce him. Seeking to secure a stable life for herself and Jr., she entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, but the tournament was cancelled midway. Left stranded and forced into a struggling life, the two are suddenly confronted by Dad, holding a bouquet of flowers.

Moved by his heartfelt second proposal, Mom decided to believe in his sincerity and reunited with him as husband and wife.

Half a year later, the family was living a happy life in Australia, but it was discovered that Dad—who seemed to have completely reformed—was cheating. Enraged, Mom unleashed a powerful uppercut that sent Dad flying far away into the distance, crashing straight down into a certain facility. As luck would have it, it was a secret research laboratory for cutting-edge weapons operated by G Corporation. Spotted as an intruder by G Corporation guards, Dad desperately fled through the facility, unintentionally destroying equipment all over the place and ultimately causing the laboratory to suffer a massive explosion.

As a result, G Corporation lost a vast amount of research data and equipment, prompting them to issue a wanted poster featuring a sketch of the mysterious escaping kangaroo, along with an announcement that a massive bounty would be paid to anyone who captured it.

Unaware of any of this, Mom and Jr. had resumed their life together. However, starting one day, mysterious attackers began appearing one after another. When they looked into it out of curiosity, they stumbled upon the news: "A mysterious kangaroo flew in, attacked a G Corporation facility, blew it up, and escaped, leading to a bounty being placed on its head." The sketch on the published wanted poster was simply a cute illustration that only showed "a kangaroo wearing boxing gloves," making it no surprise that Mom and the others were being treated as the culprits.

At Jr.'s words, Mom crossed her arms and fell silent for a moment. Although she thought to herself that this whole mess was entirely his own fault, and she had neither any intention of forgiving him nor any obligation to help him, she ultimately decided to step up purely for the sake of "their own peaceful life." After consulting with Jr., they concluded that the quickest way to fundamentally resolve the situation would be to crush the mastermind behind the bounty, so they set off on a journey to defeat the top executives of G Corporation.
