  • Split moves using break icon. Misinformed combos will be deleted.
  • Don't submit fake or impossible combo.
  • Make combo as first player (LEFT SIDE)
  • Combos with Special Style method are not allowed
  • Make sure to have some practice before submiting.
  • Minimal hit count for your combos is 4.
  • Don't add combos for crouching opponents.
  • Don't forget to complete combo properties for better understanding.

The Tekken community has established a standardized notation for representing combos and special moves in text form for many years. To facilitate understanding for both novice and experienced players, it is important to follow a consistent format when writing out your combos.

The guide below outlines the commonly used notation and best practices for using symbols and annotations. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask at the bottom of this page.

How to use side switch Side Switch

The side switch button allows you to display an icon representing your character switching sides from left to right or right to left during a combo. This is particularly the case with certain characters like Lars, but also generally in more advanced combos.

When using this icon in the combo editor, you should continue to use the same directions as if you were staying on the left side. The editor will display the command in reverse, but the notation will remain the same. To ensure the combo displays correctly, do not manually reverse the directions as this is done automatically.
