No one expected it, and everyone thought he was definitely dead, but Namco Bandai has just revealed the incredible return of Heihachi Mishima! The iconic character of the series, present since all the episodes, is back for revenge. The trailer reveals little but shows a lot of scenes from the story mode expansion that will be available at the end of the year. For now, Heihachi will be released in autumn and his gameplay will probably be revealed in September. We will learn more about his presence and how he survived.

The trailer for the next DLC character of the season has just been released, and it's Lidia Sobieska as previously announced. This Polish fighter, who practices traditional Karate, made her first appearance in Tekken 7 as the last DLC. It seemed fitting to see her return in Tekken 8. Although her style remains aggressive, Lidia has further developed her long-range moves. This trailer also gives us a glimpse of the beach arena that should be released soon. Lidia appears to have a connection with Jin and Reina in the story, but we don't know more at this time.

She is expected to be available in June.

New Stage: Seaside Resort: A new stage called "Seaside Resort" will arrive in the summer.

Tekken 8's first DLC character has been announced, and it's Eddy Gordo. A series mainstay since Tekken 3, he was highly requested by the community. His capoeira is still as effective as ever, and will allow for even more devastating combos. The character also seems to be easier to learn. Eddy Gordo gets a complete makeover in this installment, radically changing his haircut and beard for a more modern style. He will be available on April 4th, and in early access on April 1st for those with a Deluxe or Ultimate version.

The King of Iron Fist will get a lot more stylish with Patch 1.02.01 with the implementation of the TEKKEN SHOP & the inclusion of the brand-new UT x TEKKEN in-game collaboration customization items, as well as functional improvements and bug fixes!

This update will be implemented on February 29^th; a maintenance will be preceding the patch at the following time:

• PST - February 28^th (Wednesday) 17:30 - 00:00
• CET - February 29^th (Thursday) 02:30 - 09:00
• JST - February 29^th (Thursday) 10:30 - 17:00

• SUPER GHOST BATTLE & GHOST MATCH

Ghost data from previous versions remain available, but character behavior and moves will be updated with the balance changes brought by the patch.
