Heading to the venue of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 7 to prove that he is the strongest, Bob spots Bryan engaging in acts of destruction along the way. While fighting to protect the citizens, he gets caught in a sudden, massive road collapse and is forced to be hospitalized. However, having reached his limit with the frugal meals served at the hospital, he devises a recipe for the ultimate hamburger himself. Shortly after being discharged, he launches a hamburger shop chain that achieves massive success. Furthermore, when he releases the "Bob Onigiri" as a new signature menu item, an unprecedented rice ball craze sweeps across the entire United States.

Meanwhile, an incident occurs where G Corporation forces, advancing their armed invasion across the globe, seize control of New York. Kazuya Mishima, who had been controlling G Corporation from the shadows, appears before the public in his Devil form and declares a reign of force to the world. Before the overwhelming power of the Devil that surpasses human knowledge, the military is rendered helpless, leaving the people with nothing to do but desperately wait for the arrival of a hero.

As the economy sharply decelerates, Bob, unable to stand by and watch the massive crowds of unemployed people overflowing the streets, starts a food bank initiative providing free hamburgers and onigiri. A post then spreads across social media claiming, "Eating onigiri means oni-giri—that is, cutting down the Devil." As the spark that ignited the onigiri craze, Bob instantly becomes the man of the hour as the "Savior of Food."

Eventually, as word spreads that he is a genius martial artist who once worked as a bail bondsman, his popularity grows even further out of control. Before long, voices even begin calling to "Make Bob the New York prosecutor!" Ultimately, under emergency measures during these critical times, he receives a formal offer to become an investigator for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

Surprised by the sudden, monumental role thrust upon him, the man with a stronger sense of justice than anyone—Robert "Bob" Richards—readily accepts the request and stands up as an investigator to capture Kazuya Mishima.

"Just you wait, Kazuya Mishima. With my perfect body, I will bring you to justice under the law!"
