Anna Williams, the beautiful former assassin known as "Lightning Scarlet," is Nina Williams' sister.
Half a year ago, Anna retired from being an assassin and was working as a strategic advisor for the G Corporation. She fell in love with a G Corporation executive and was about to get married.
However, on the day of the wedding, her husband-to-be was killed by her sister Nina, and she herself was suddenly expelled from the G Corporation.
Harboring a strong anger towards Nina, Anna begins investigating the truth behind this unreasonable incident, using her information network from her assassin days.
She then learns that her murdered fiancé was actually a terrible man who had been involved in considerable wrongdoing in the underworld.
"Could it be that she did that to protect me...?"
Anna feels a slight sense of gratitude that Nina's actions had inadvertently eliminated a bad influence.
However, immediately after that, information reaches her that Nina has replaced her and taken the position of strategic advisor for the G Corporation.
"...Fufu, that woman is truly the worst! But that's exactly why it'll be so satisfying to take revenge."
With her desire for revenge rekindled, Anna breaks into the G Corporation's security and commissions a secret weapon from the highly skilled weapons craftsman, Dr. Nakamura, to subdue Nina.
A small, easily portable heavy weapon with a transformation mechanism that can also handle combat against multiple opponents - she names it "Lovely Tom."
To maximize the strengths of this weapon, Anna overhauls her own fighting style and learns a new way of fighting.
"Just you wait, Nina. You'll be kneeling helplessly before the reborn me and this 'Lovely Tom.'"
