Kuma - Classic Brown Bear Costume (TEKKEN Series)

Kuma

Kuma's classic brown bear appearance can be seen in TEKKEN 1, TEKKEN 2, TEKKEN 5, TEKKEN 6, and TEKKEN 7, as shown in the original screenshots. In TEKKEN 1 and TEKKEN 2, the original Kuma appears with dark brown fur, a large body, sharp claws, and no clothing or accessories. In TEKKEN 5, TEKKEN 6, and TEKKEN 7, his son Kuma II continues this familiar natural bear appearance, with more detailed fur, improved character models, and slightly different shades of brown. Despite these changes, the classic design remains recognizable across all five games.

For my TEKKEN 8 recreation, I brought back Kuma's natural brown bear appearance without adding clothing, hats, or accessories. The modern version features more realistic fur, a lighter brown body, and a noticeably lighter face compared with the older designs. Although the fur colors and facial details are different, the overall appearance captures Kuma's original style and shows how his classic design has evolved from TEKKEN 1 through TEKKEN 7.

The outfit was recreated entirely using TEKKEN 8's standard in-game customization options, without using mods, Tekken Coins, Tekken Shop items, or items unlocked through online matches or the Tekken Fight Lounge.
