This customization recreates Paul Phoenix's classic blue karate gi from TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2, which also appears in TEKKEN 7. The original outfit features a sleeveless dark blue karate gi with rough, frayed edges, matching worn blue pants, a black belt, black fighting gloves, white forearm wraps, and black open-toed martial arts footwear. A yellow symbol appears on the chest and a larger matching symbol is displayed on the back of the gi. Paul also retains his signature tall blond flat-top hairstyle, facial hair, and arm tattoo.

The TEKKEN 8 recreation follows the original design with a sleeveless blue karate gi, matching blue pants, a black belt, black fighting gloves, gray-white forearm wraps, and black open-toed footwear. The yellow symbol on the chest and the torn edges of the sleeves and pants help recreate the original appearance. The main differences are the cleaner, brighter blue fabric, the more detailed belt, and the slightly different design of the forearm wraps and footwear. The recreation preserves the overall look of Paul's blue karate gi from TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 and TEKKEN 7.

The outfit was recreated entirely using TEKKEN 8's standard in-game customization options, without using mods, Tekken Coins, Tekken Shop items, or items unlocked through online matches or the Tekken Fight Lounge.
