This customization recreates Paul Phoenix's Player 1 outfit from TEKKEN 4, which introduced a different look from his traditional sleeveless karate gi. The original outfit features a plain white short-sleeved T-shirt, red martial arts pants with printed designs, and a red gi jacket removed and tied around his waist. He also wears black fighting gloves with yellow details and black motorcycle-style boots with orange flame patterns. Paul retains his signature tall blond flat-top hairstyle and facial hair.

The TEKKEN 8 recreation uses a fitted white T-shirt, loose red pants, black wristbands, and red-and-black boots to represent the original outfit. The main differences are the absence of the red gi jacket tied around his waist, the printed designs on the pants, and the original flame patterns on the boots. The recreation also uses wristbands instead of the original fighting gloves. Despite these differences, the white shirt, red pants, boots, and Paul's recognizable hairstyle capture the overall appearance of his TEKKEN 4 Player 1 costume.

The outfit was recreated entirely using TEKKEN 8's standard in-game customization options, without using mods, Tekken Coins, Tekken Shop items, or items unlocked through online matches or the Tekken Fight Lounge.
