This customization recreates young Paul Phoenix's classic Player 1 outfit from the original TEKKEN. He wears a sleeveless red karate gi with matching red pants, a black belt, black fighting gloves, and black footwear. His signature tall blond flat-top hairstyle is already present, giving him his recognizable appearance. Unlike his older appearances in later games, young Paul has a clean-shaven face without a beard. This classic red outfit also appears as his Player 1 costume in TEKKEN 2.
The TEKKEN 8 recreation follows the original design with a red sleeveless karate gi, matching pants, black belt, fighting gloves, and Paul's iconic blond hairstyle. The main differences are the more detailed, worn edges of the gi, gray forearm wraps, and open-toed footwear instead of the original black shoes. Despite these differences, the customization preserves the overall appearance of young Paul from the early TEKKEN games.
The outfit was recreated entirely using TEKKEN 8's standard in-game customization options, without using mods, Tekken Coins, Tekken Shop items, or items unlocked through online matches or the Tekken Fight Lounge.
