Kunimitsu's classic brown ninja costume appeared in the early TEKKEN games, featuring a dark brown, full-body ninja uniform with a black undershirt, protective arm coverings, gloves, and traditional ninja-inspired footwear. Her recognizable red hair and bladed weapons completed the design. Although her TEKKEN 1, TEKKEN 2, and TTT1 appearances shared a similar overall costume style, the masks featured differences in shape and design. The original TEKKEN 1 mask had a distinctive horned appearance, while TEKKEN 2 introduced a different interpretation of her masked identity.

This TEKKEN 8 recreation combines inspiration from both appearances, using the mask concept from TEKKEN 1 and a brown-and-gold color scheme inspired by TEKKEN 2. The recreation features a white fox-style mask, long red ponytail, brown and purple clothing, gold decorative accents, armored gloves, protective leg pieces, and black boots. Although the modern shorts, exposed shoulders, and detailed armor differ significantly from the original full-body ninja uniform, the selected colors, mask, and weapon accessories help represent Kunimitsu's early appearances. The fox-style mask is not an exact reproduction of either historical mask, but serves as the closest visual interpretation chosen for this recreation.

The outfit was recreated entirely using TEKKEN 8's standard in-game customization options, without using mods, Tekken Coins, Tekken Shop items, or items unlocked through online matches or the Tekken Fight Lounge.
